The OKMHF has no paid staff. The OKMHF operations are conducted by a patriotic group of over 100 dedicated volunteer "Ambassadors". The first step to becoming an official Ambassador is to join our Foundation and remit annual or lifetime dues, your choice.
All Ambassadors must be Members of our Foundation. But not all Members need be Ambassadors. Being an Ambassador takes your membership to a much more active level.
Ambassadors are from all parts of Oklahoma and share a common desire to honor the extraordinary leadership and heroic actions of our Oklahoma service men and women.
If you would like to join us in this very rewarding effort to recognize Oklahoma's finest, please contact us and we will guide you through the process. The first step is to join us as a Member and become active. Ambassador opportunities are listed below.
Ambassador status must be approved by the Foundation Board of Directors. Upon approval, an Ambassador will receive a medallion suspended from a red ribbon. Board member medallions will have a gold ribbon.
